How can we help?
Answers to common questions about recording, speed ramps and exporting.
Why can't I record at 240 fps?
The highest frame rate depends on your iPhone model and lens. Slomoly only shows frame rates your camera supports. If your iPhone gets warm, recording steps down to 120 fps to protect it. On cameras without slow-motion support, Slomoly records at the best standard frame rate.
Why does my slow motion look choppy?
Videos shot at 30 or 60 fps don't have enough frames for very slow speeds. Amber marks on the timeline show where frames will repeat. Open the Smooth tab and choose Blend, or AI Smooth on supported devices with iOS 26, or record at 120 or 240 fps.
How do I make a speed ramp?
In the Speed tab, Simple mode lets you add a slow section at the playhead and drag its edges. Curve mode lets you tap the graph to add keyframes and drag them to any speed. The Presets tab gives you ready-made ramps in one tap.
Why is there a watermark?
Slomoly is free, and exported videos include a small Slomoly logo in the corner. You can see it in the editor preview before you export.
Where are my videos saved?
Exports are saved to Photos. Projects stay inside the app until you delete them from the project menu.
How do I change the app language?
Open Settings in Slomoly and tap Language. iOS opens the app's settings page, where you can pick any of the 43 supported languages.
