Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 9, 2026
This privacy policy applies to the following mobile apps made by Anh Tuan Hoang, publishing as
Elight Labs (shown as "Delight Lab" on Google Play) ("we", "us"):
It explains what information each app handles, how it is used and shared, and the choices you
have. Sections 1, 2 and 4–11 apply to all apps; section 3 describes each app.
1. Summary
- What you create (recordings, songs, videos, learning progress) stays on your device. We run
no servers that receive it.
- Our apps have no user accounts and no analytics.
- We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number,
contacts or location.
- The Android versions of Elight Studio and Slomoly show ads from Google AdMob. Google collects
some device information to show and measure ads, as described in section 4. Rabese and
Slomoly for iPhone show no ads.
2. Information we collect
We do not collect personal information. Content and settings are stored only on your device, in
each app's private storage or in folders you can see (such as your music, movies or photos). You
can delete them in the app, with your device's file or photo manager, or by uninstalling the app.
If you choose to share a file with another app (for example a messaging app), that app's privacy
policy applies.
3. App by app
Elight Studio (Android)
- Microphone: used only while you record (in Record, in the Studio, and when
you measure recording latency). Recordings are saved on your device.
- Music and audio files: files you choose are copied into the app's private
storage and processed on your device. Results are saved in the
Music/ElightLab
folder.
- Songs, MIDI and SoundFonts: Studio projects, notes from a connected MIDI
keyboard and SoundFont files you load are stored in the app's private storage.
- Ads: a banner on the main screens and, at most once each time you open the
app, a full-screen ad after you save something. Ads are never shown while you record or play
in the Studio. See section 4.
Slomoly (iPhone and Android)
- Your videos: videos you record or import are stored only on your device,
inside the app. Editing, rendering and exporting happen on your device.
- Camera and microphone: used to record video and sound, only while you
record.
- Photos: on iPhone, add-only access saves exported videos to your library;
Slomoly cannot read your library. On Android, exports are saved to
Movies/Slomoly. Videos and songs you import are the ones you choose in the
system picker.
- iPhone: no ads, no tracking across apps or websites, and no third-party
advertising, analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
- Android: supported by ads from Google AdMob: a banner on the home screen, and
an optional rewarded video you can watch to export without the watermark. See section 4.
- Deleting a project deletes its files. Exports saved to your photos stay there until you
delete them.
Rabese (iPhone and Android)
- No ads, no tracking: no advertising identifier (IDFA / Android Advertising
ID), no third-party analytics, no location.
- On-device data: bookmarks, sentences you marked as learned and when, test
counts, recent searches and settings (language, pinyin, sound, haptics, daily goal) are
stored in a local database, never synced and excluded from cloud backup. Delete them in
Settings → Reset learning data, or by uninstalling the app.
- No internet connection: all sentences and audio ship inside the app. Links
(policy, support, content sources) open in your browser only when you tap them.
- Saving images: only when you choose to save your progress card. iPhone asks
for add-only Photos access; Android 8–9 asks for storage write access; Android 10 and later
need no permission. The app never reads your existing photos.
- Purchases: the current version has none. If paid features are offered, Apple
or Google handles the payment; we never see your card details or store account.
- Example sentences come from a community source (Tatoeba) and are filtered for sensitive
content, but may mildly mention real-world topics such as alcohol, news-style violence or
medicine.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
This section applies to Elight Studio and Slomoly for Android. We do not collect data for ads
ourselves. To show, limit and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google's Mobile Ads SDK collects and
processes:
- your device's advertising ID,
- your IP address and the approximate location derived from it,
- device information (model, operating system, language, network type) and app
information,
- ad interactions (impressions, clicks) and diagnostic data such as crash logs.
This information is handled by Google under its own policies:
5. Your choices
- Consent. Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic
Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and some US states), the app asks for your choice
before ads are requested. You can choose "Do not consent" and still use every feature, and
change your choice at any time in the app: Settings, Ad privacy choices.
- Advertising ID. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in
your device settings (Settings, Google, Ads, or Settings, Privacy, Ads). Without it, ads are
not personalized.
- Opt-out tools. You can also manage interest-based advertising at
adssettings.google.com and
youradchoices.com.
- Permissions. You can allow or revoke microphone, camera and photo access at
any time in your device settings.
6. Links to other websites and services
Ads and links in our apps may lead to third-party websites or apps. Information you provide there
is governed by that party's privacy policy and terms, not by this policy. We do not control and are
not responsible for third-party websites or services.
7. Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal
information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through one of
our apps, please contact us and we will help remove it.
8. Security
Your content stays on your device and is protected by your device's security. Data that Google's
SDK sends for advertising is encrypted in transit.
9. Legal requirements
We may disclose information if required by law, to respond to legal process, to protect our
rights or property, or to investigate fraud, illegal activity or threats to anyone's safety. As we
do not collect personal information or your content, we generally have nothing to disclose.
10. Changes to this policy
If an app starts handling data differently, this page will be updated before that version is
released, with a new effective date.
